So many questions.

I don’t understand why this wasn’t investigated further. I’m blown away that not more DNA evidence was tested, also the digital data from Jades phone! Why? Why? I hate to say that this town sounds very backwards as far as being able to properly handle a murder investigation. They have allowed the meth, and drug issues to wear them down. They just wanted to wrap this investigation up in a few days. Not willing to put any real effort into proving beyond a shadow of doubt!

After listening to this podcast I don't believe she is guilty and she wasn't given a fair trial. Unfortunately law enforcement in southern Illinois doesn't know how to handle a case like this. Just look at the next town over , Carbondale, and see how they handled Pravin Varughese’s death. The Illinois state police should have taken this case.

Thank you for bringing this case to light. I live close to where this happened and what I was told it was a slam dunk - she did it!! But you have changed my mind and I believe there’s an innocent woman in prison!!
