A new mystery thriller from the makers of Blackout and The Left Right Game, Last Known Position follows a group of experts including submersible pilot Mikaela Soto (Gina Rodriguez) as they seek to recover a flight that suddenly vanished over the Pacific Ocean. The super yacht sets off on what looks like an expedition funded by a grieving billionaire, William Cavanaugh (James Purefoy), to recover the flight that his wife and daughter were on. But the crew soon discovers that there's more to the expedition than they were let on when they start to find themselves in increasingly perilous situations that point to a saboteur among the group, and a looming threat in the deep waters. Last Known Position premieres everywhere on Monday, December 20th. QCODE+ subscribers on Apple Podcasts will get early access to new episodes before anyone else and exclusive bonus content. Why put ads in the middle of the podcast?
29/10/2024
Good lord it’s such a horrible idea. Like the no sleep podcast, have them at the beginning! Horrible ads too. Without them this podcast would easily be a 5.
Poorly written…
30 may
In addition to everything else that’s been said, it’s poorly written. Even for sci-fi, the plot doesn’t make sense. There’s no character consistency, arbitrary plot twists, and poor audio direction: when your foley work is so bad, that your characters have to constantly recap events so that the listeners know what that mess of sounds they just heard was supposed to be.
Ads volume is so loud
6 may
Why is the volume for the ads 3 times louder than the actual story. It’s so annoying.
Could be good but why bother
29/12/2024
Was good while it lasted. I understand the economics of audio drama podcasts is challenging, but listening 3 years after it last aired, why bother, since we know it will never conclude. It’s a shame so many series run in to the great economic wall. Even supporting through the “premium” feeds and such isn’t enough to save your favorite shows. Why is it that all the shows that appeal to me die after one season. Even the smash hits die because creators need to monetize elsewhere and disappear. I love audio dramas for the last 15 years, and will continue to support where possible. To all the whiny people complaining about ads and misplaced ads, get a clue. Life is expensive and creators need to live. Q code can’t seem to get a second season of any show. Good riddance of they disappear all together and stop driving me nuts. Gave up supporting them because nothing ever makes it to season 2, especially some of the biggest hits in podcast land. Boo 😒
