Just telling the truth

I enjoyed every episode I’ve listened to. No matter how short. People working for Viva are working for animals, for their welfare. They are telling us the truth about living conditions of majority of farm animals in the UK. I’m greatful to all of them for that. Unfortunately it’s not like in Countryfile, which I believed for far too long. Majority of animals are confined in factories. Here in the UK. Not many of them on the green fields when you drive by. Over 1 billion killed in the UK a year to satisfy our tastebuds. Keep going Viva to end the cage age. Thank you!

This was such a brilliant podcast, as they all are. I related to the secondary trauma and how this has affected my life. We as vegans know about the trauma of being wistness to the atrocities within the animal agriculture industries, but to have it validated by Malaine was incredibly reassuring. It was good for her to share the impact animal ag is having on the planet too. These podcasts, and other vegan podcasts, are the only thing that keeps me grounded and offers hope. Even after over twenty years of being vegan. However, and this is going to sound … actually I’m not sure how it will sound, but I feel I need to say it. Considering the topic and the impact of trying to accept that some people just won’t or can’t open their eyes and hearts to the plight of animals and the planet. One of you guys, Faye and Lex, and I am sorry I am not sure whom, said that you are dating a none vegan… I found this so odd and it took me straight to a place of despair. This diminished the impact this podcast had had on me. I can only hope that your partner will ‘see the light’, as of course you have obviously done. But I was left with a sense of hopelessness. If you guys cannot encourage the people close to you to make these oh so necessary changes, how is anyone going to help encourage change. I hope you can see my point and I do appreciate the hard work Viva do and of course you guys. I am a member of Viva. Supporting your work by purchasing the printed leaflets and distributing when possible. Thank you Tracey

Recently discovered this. Turned me into a Viva supporter overnight. Faye and Lex are an excellent double act, intelligent, positive, and they have great guests as well. Thank you.
Really inspiring!

This podcast is what encourages me to go out and do my 4km walk every morning. I normally hate exercise but this podcast gets me out there so I can listen to it! I started listening about a year ago and started from the first episode. I am now nearly caught up! There are some very interesting guests and topics. The downside (if it is one!) is that I keep buying books by people who are on and who I find fascinating.
